WHY?
Do you remember when you found your passion for your future? Don’t you wish you knew then what you know now? Research shows that life preparation in college contributes to a student's future success. Therefore UB has worked to put together programs that will teach students to plan, stay healthy, and lead fulfilling lives. Such programs include the Career services program, Health and Wellness program, Leadership program, Community Engagement program, and Libraries program. These programs are not cheap. 93% of the cost of these programs falls to UB. It is covered neither by tuition nor New York State. In fact, tuition covers only 14% of the cost of a UB education.
